GDA To Re Launch Chandrashila Housing Scheme after Reducing Flat Price

News

To attract home buyers towards their ambitious Chandrashila Housing Scheme, the Ghaziabad Development has once again planned to re-launch this scheme after slashing the flat prices. The scheme was first launched in 2015 where the authority has to construct around 120 flats for the prospective buyers.

As per GDA, the officials have decided to lower the flat price by 10.1 lakh, Rs 9.51 lakh, and Rs 9.3 lakh in different categories and will re-launch the scheme with revised rates on 6th September 2019. The proposal has already been sent to the board for further approval.

Elaborating more on the above development, Kanchan Verma, GDA vice-chairperson said, “Under this scheme, multi-storeyed flats have to be constructed near Lohiya Nagar, but due to several reasons, the construction got delayed. Moreover, this is the only scheme which got delayed from GDA’s side and for this we have also refunded the payments of two allottees. The flats are now completed and ready to sell”

She further informed that the authority has reduced the prices of the flats by lowering various charges like overhead charges and the contingency charges. The reduced cost will apply to all the flats.

The flats under the Chandrashila Housing Scheme are divided into three categories. The first category of 2-BHK flats will now be priced at 55.93 lakh each, while another one will now be offered at Rs 43.14 lakh each. Similarly, the third category of 2 BHK will be offered for Rs 44.73 lakh each.

Similar provisions have also been made for other GDA housing schemes in Indraprastha and Koyal Enclave which will be implemented once approved by the government.
