Samsung R&D institute took up bigger office space in Bengaluru

In order to expand its Research and development wing in Bengaluru, Samsung took up a bigger office space in the city. The company has recently picked up 4 lakh sq ft of office space in Bagmane Goldstone which is a part of Bagmane WTC. At present, the R&D Institute is located in Bagmane Constellation Business Park in Marathahalli.

As per a real estate research firm, Samsung has already completed the registration process for the commercial space. They want to move in one of their business function from the R&D unit so that it can provide seat to at least 4,000 employees at single place only.

After South Korea, this is Samsung’s biggest R&D Institute in Bengaluru. It is one of the key innovation hubs that focus on developing cutting edge technologies across multiple areas just to transform user experiences both in the National as well as the International Market. The R&D institute works on two main points- First to develop make in India products that fulfill the consumer needs and second to create USPs for universal flagship devices by creating significant advancements in Modem, Multimedia, AI, and the Internet of Things.

Talking about, Bagmane WTC, it is a premier IT/ITeS Special Economic Zone (SEZ) that is located in Eastern peripheral Bangalore – on K.R Puram-Marathahalli stretch of Outer Ring Road (ORR). Spread over an area of 52 acres with a total built-up area of 6 million Sq.ft, the SEZ is known for its well-planned architecture and state of the art amenities such as food court, Coffee shop, ATMs, Day Care Center, Fitness Center, and Sports amenities. It is a LEED certified building and is home to leading and top-notch IT companies and MNCs.
