DLF plans expansion of Cybercity in Chennai

Real estate developer DLF has recently announced the expansion of DLF Cybercity in Chennai, by 1.6 million sq ft additional blocks. Designed by famous architect Hafeez Contractor; the three blocks have been constructed by Kuala Lumpur-based Eversendai and managed by Mace International.

 

The new office blocks were inaugurated by State Information Technology department Secretary B Chandramohan at a function in Chennai.

 

According to Sriram Khattar, managing director, DLF rental business, “The blocks are equipped with ultra-modern interiors, high-end atriums, a food court with 1,200 seats, day-care center and a sports hub with outdoor sporting facilities.” He also said that Chennai is one of their important markets, following Gurugram. DLF has a long-term commitment to Chennai.

 

With these new blocks, DLF Cybercity Chennai will now offer seven million sq ft of Grade A inventory making it a perfect business destination for those expanding with us and setting up their research, development and design centers.
