After close to six years of its construction, the Sarita Vihar underpass is all set to be inaugurated to the public and create better infrastructure for the daily commuters between Okhla and Kalindi Kunj. This will help people in terms of considerably reducing their commuting time and effort.
According to the people close to the construction of this underpass, the work for Sarita Vihar underpass involved the advanced technique of box pushing, which has ensured an uninterrupted flow of rail traffic throughout the construction process of this underpass. Additionally, this is touted as one of the largest underpasses under a railway track in India.
Once inaugurated, the Sarita Vihar underpass will reduce commuting time between Okhla and Kalindi Kunj from the current 30-40 minutes to just about five minutes of travel time.
And hence this is also set to create big value for the real estate locations in and around Noida – especially for those who work in Delhi or Gurgaon and live in Noida. As a reduction in travel time is regarded as one of the biggest criteria for finalizing a residential location.
