CoLive, a Bengaluru-based co-living space company went into a partnership with Esthell Hotels and Resorts and has planned to open a co-living space of 650 beds in Chennai.
Suresh Rangarajan K, founder of CoLive said that the company has acquired the entire building of 13 floors and will starts operations soon.
He further said that the firm has gone into partnership with developers outside the city such as Casa Grande, Primex Infrastructure to start more co-living spaces. The rising demand for co-living space in the city and has also made the developers show more interest in such projects he said.
The owner also said that the co-living space has no boundations like the PG accommodations have and thus people aging between 22 to 35 years are asking for more such spaces in the city. He also said that facilities are better at co-living spaces in comparison to PGs and hostels.
The Bengaluru-based firm, CoLive started its operations in February this year and is planning business expansion in Pune by the end of this year.
At present, the company has more than 10,000 beds and also made its presence felt in other southern cities of India such as Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.
