Ascendas Singbridge, who is the largest foreign real estate developer in India, has planned to develop office space here at large. The company is soon to launch their plan for constructing 16 million square feet office space pan-country in coming three-four years.
According to the officials, the company has decided to double to current office space and its operations in India.
Vinarma Srivastava, the Chief Executive Officer of Ascendas Singbridge said that we mainly deal in the development of IT parks. But are now focusing on the development of logistics parks, data centres and is soon to enter the co-working space here in India.
The company owns 12-business parks in six cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and NCR [National capital Region] and is also offering support to Andhra Pradesh in carrying out the developmental process of its capital city Amravati.
CEO also said that the company has raised 300 million dollar fund in collaboration with Temasek to develop the logistic par. We are planning to construct logistics parks in multiple cities that will cover an area of 14 to 15 million sq. feet. This development will be carried out in the next four to five years.
Srivastava also said that we are working on the concept and are also hiring a team for data centers. The company is currently focusing on six cities including NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai as a maximum number of multinational clients are demanding space in these cities.
He further added that the company will also explore opportunities in other cities too.
