The announcement of an airport in the Jewar attracted realtors and investor here. Therefore, the YEIDA [Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority] plans to develop infrastructure and connectivity of the area.
This is a major initiative to increase the connectivity between Delhi and Jewar in Uttar Pradesh State that is adjoining to the national Capital. In the latest development of Jewar area, the YEIDA authority has decided to ask DMRC [Delhi Metro Rail Corporation] to prepare TEFR [Techono-Economical Feasibility Report] which will allow them to understand the flaws and challenges before commencing work of this high-speed metro rail project.
This project will offer smooth connectivity between YEIDA region’s Sector 20 and Jewar airport and thus the YEIDA Authority has also asked for the company to draw RFP i.e Request for Proposal. This proposal will help the official to make urban mobility plan work in an effective manner.
Both TEFR and RFP are the part of pre-planning before starting-off the metro rail project in Jewar as this project will transform the look and feel of Jewar and will also play a pivotal role in the development of this area.
The YEIDA will move onto other important work related to this high-speed metro rail project once they receive these two reports.
